Sunday, and you were being a mall rat. The luxurious new body products line, which boasts of everything from Dead Sea bathing salts to yummy dark chocolate scrubs and rich caviar cream, drew you in like a moth to a flame. You loaded up your basket with a heap of these goodies, each promising to make you look younger and giving you that 'glow' to die for, and leaving you feeling good about yourself, albeit with a lighter wallet.

Well who can blame you? You gave into luscious advertising and the promise of a quick fix. But do you really think you can look younger and be more beautiful by using an inch-high bottle of caviar cream worth Rs 5000? Wouldn't we all look fabulous all the time if we just knew which magic potion worked for us? I'm sorry to bring it down so hard, but that little tub of cream does nothing but moisturize your skin and cause a dent in your bank balance. Beauty doesn't come in a container or a tube. It cannot be bought. Period.
